Not a week passes by without reading netinterest and I'm sure your readers gain as much as you gain from the feedback from them. Thanks a lot for doing this
Love this type of 'summary' reads! Wonder if you would like to write on to what extent DeFi can challenge CeFi! Particularly on payment (ETH, smart contract), Dex model, and crypto as an asset-class :)
This sort of summarising post has been a godsend for bringing thoughts together and in line. Great hyperlinking as well. Please make it an annual thing!
Hi Marc, Net Interest is compulsory weekend reading for me. Keep up the good work. I do my own newsletter at www.frontierfintech.substack.com and you I want to model my newsletter around yours.
Hi Marc, thanks for the post that very succinctly rounds up everything you have been writing about so neatly! A suggestion for a theme that could warrant a post - disintermediation of banks in the institutional lending market. I happen to work at a direct lending desk in one of the London banks. What I have often observed is that outside of our world, people still do not fully appreciate how important alternative lenders (the likes of HIG, KKR, Ares, Apollo et al) have become, especially in US. Would love to hear your thoughts on this trend. Cheers, Rohit
